In Memory of Chuck Mason

On September 21, 2017 the Athens Choral Society family lost fellow singer and good friend, Chuck Mason. Chuck was a long-time member of ACS as well as a member and leader of many other singing groups in Athens and the surrounding area. Chuck was a past President of the ACS Board of Directors and served on the Board for 6 years. Most people will remember Chuck from our summer shows when he led ensembles that were popular with our audiences, particularly his men’s ensembles. He was a friend, a leader, and a teacher to many of us in his time with ACS and we will miss him.  We dedicate our fall concert, Angels Everywhere, to Chuck.
