Concert Program Advertising

Fresh off of celebrating our 50th anniversary, the Athens Choral Society is the longest performing non-audition community chorus in our area. We are open to anyone in the community who loves to sing! We perform a variety of classical and popular music in up to 6 concerts per year.

Advertising shows your business in our concert programs shows your support for the arts in our community. More than 1,500 audience members will see your ad over the course of the year!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why does ACS sell ads?

    The Athens Choral Society is a non-profit organization. Advertising revenue helps us to rent our rehearsal space, pay for concert venues, hire musicians, and cover other operating expenses while keeping members’ dues reasonable.

  • What kinds of businesses advertise?

    Most of our advertisers are local businesses and organizations frequented by our members as part of their normal routine. These include restaurants, coffee shops, jewelry stores, mechanics, doctors, realtors, and many more!

  • How long will an ad run?

    We sell ad placements on a yearly basis, beginning with each fall season. This means the purchased ads run at the fall concert, spring concert, and all summer shows (for a typical total of 6 performances).

  • What size are the ads?

    Pages in our programs are 8.5” x 11”, and we sell ads in full page, half page, quarter page, and eighth page blocks in various orientations. The information page (linked from “Learn More” button above) includes examples of these layouts and sizes.

  • How do we collect payments?

    Checks made payable to the Athens Choral Society can be provided directly to the member contacting you, or mailed along with a completed order form to:
