Board of Directors
Athens Choral Society has a Board of Directors consisting of a President, President Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and Publicist. These board members are all elected from and by the membership. Ex Officio (non-voting) board members include the past president, a historian, social director, and web administrator. Board meetings are conducted once a month and are open to the membership unless otherwise specified.

Concert Dress Requirements |

Women's Attire
The Board has approved a floor-length black concert dress for women. Speak to a Board member to learn more about the dress and where to order one. Women who choose not to wear the official concert dress can wear a floor-length black dress, or a floor-length black skirt with a long-sleeved black blouse. Women should also wear black, close-toed shoes. Conservative jewelry is acceptable.
Men's Attire
Concert dress for men consists of black tuxedo, black shoes, a white shirt, and a black tie.
Perfume and Cologne
Perfume and cologne are prohibited during performances as several members are severely allergic. We have found that coughing, sneezing, and wheezing, while fun to watch, ultimately distracts from the performance.
