The Athens Choral Society has begun rehearsals for our annual summer fundraiser. This year, we're taking a break from Broadway and musicals and instead have Gone Country! Featuring solos, duets, small groups, and the entire Choral Society performing songs by Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, John Denver, and many more! This year, a portion of the donations will go towards supporting the Athens Community Council on Aging.

In 2011 The Athens Choral Society will celebrate 40 years of music making in the Athens community. We are one of Athens' few non-audition community choirs. The group is directed by Stephen Mitchell and accompanied by Sara Lorusso.
